Florida's History

Our office was founded in 1998 in Broward County by visionary volunteers, Jane Guterman and Nancy Shaller. Over time, we have expanded our region of coverage and services to the entire state of Florida in response to the growing needs of the community. Our main office is located in South Florida and most recently, we have added additional program staff to the Orlando area which allows us to offer even more programs throughout the state. 

Today, Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation Florida Office lifts the spirits of more than 6,500 children in over 50 hospitals each month throughout the State. We are dedicated to bringing happiness, hope and an improved quality of life to children in Florida. With your help, we can continue to make dreams come true and brighten the lives of seriously ill children. Each day is an opportunity to make a difference.
